## Coming for a first appointment

- **Photo identification.**
- **Any previous test results you have:** smear, ultrasound, blood tests, pathology reports. Older results are valuable because they allow comparison.
- **A list of the medicines you take** — supplements and herbal products included.
- **The first day of your last period.** An approximate date helps if you cannot recall it exactly.
- **Write down what you want to ask.** Questions tend to surface after the appointment rather than during it; a written list prevents that.
